YEARNING TO GO BACK

Let me be completely honest here, never in a million years did I think, that I’d write an article about yearning to get back to school.

What is it, that is making me want to go back so badly?

Is it the bumpy rides, that give you the adrenaline rush, no less compared to a roller coaster?

Well, these rides certainly don’t lead to Hogwarts, but I’ve realized over time that my school, is just as magical and pretty.

Magic doesn’t always have something to do with waving your wand around, casting an Avada Kedavra or a Wingardium Leviosa, spending quality time at school with my friends gives me the magical vibes, a feeling that is unparalleled.

That feeling when you’re the first one to enter the class and you conquer your seat, that pride, Alexander The Great would definitely be jealous.

And then there’s this huge task of decorating the white board everyday, some splashes of white to brighten the board’s day :)

Now, the classes can be a tad boring, and annoying, and slow, and sleepy and… okay you get the point. But when the bell rings, it’s like absolute music to the ears, the best genre of music, I can confirm.

So, moving on to the next segment, debates that are a notch above the presidential debates, drumroll please.. That’s right, the P.E period.

I mean, I literally cannot remember a single instance when we did not waste time debating over which sport to play, and what’s sad is that Tony learns from his mistakes, but we do not. Definitely not.

And then the libraryyy, ooh the smell of books, so many good books to choose from, a portal to another dimension, an oasis of serenity.

Then at the end of 8 hours, all of us would lay, heads down on our benches, worrying about homework, but also more than happy to go back home and recharge.

Right then, it would be time for our coaching classes. That’s when the Bolts and the Kohlis and the Phelps’ would come alive.

The coaching classes actually relieve us of the entire day’s stress and it helped us focus and channel our mental energy.

Once the warm down was done, a whistle would be blown, and that would be our cue to leave school.

While online school is the complete opposite of that, I think we’ve gotten the opportunity to work on ourselves and understand the value of small things in life.

To be optimistic, I definitely learnt.

I would’ve never thought this highly of my school.

I would’ve never known it’s value.

I would’ve never written this article, if not for online classes.

So in conclusion, every situation may not be good, but remember, there is some good in every situation.
